4-Series & 7-Series Sensor Modules

The 7 Smart Sensor Module consists of a data collection and processing PCB assembly, a SemeaTech 7-Series electrochemical (EC) sensor, and a metal enclosure. The PCB assembly in the module collects the data from the gas sensor output and then processes it with amplification, sampling, filtration, and compensation through a built-in MCU to deliver stable and accurate digital output reflecting the actual target gas concentration.  All of SemeaTech 7-series EC sensors and 4-electrode EC sensors can be used to form a 7 Smart Sensor Module to detect the target gas with the digital output. This module provides the convenience and friendly user experience for users to quickly integrate gas sensors into their existing systems for a variety of gas detection applications.

The 4ECM-Smart Sensor Module is designed for 4-Series three-electrode electrochemical sensors, serving as a modular detection platform for real-time concentration detection of various types of toxic and hazardous gases in the environment. The module uses SemeaTech electrochemical sensor as the sensitive component (specific technical parameters of the sensor refer to the datasheet) and performs gas concentration detection through signal sampling, amplification, filtering, and conversion. It features built-in temperature compensation, linear correction, and other functions, ensuring excellent stability. The module supports UART signal output modes, allowing direct output of digital and analog voltage signals that represent gas concentration data. The user-friendly design simplifies operation and reduces the users' development cycle. It also includes an automatic shorting PIN function for zero-bias power failure, enabling stable operation within minutes of power-on for unbiased sensors. For biased sensors, it is recommended to power on for over 24 hours before use.

The RS485 transmitter is specifically designed to pair with SemeaTech 4SMART sensor modules. The transformation of TTL-485 signals from the modules can seamlessly occur by directly connecting them to the transmitter, requiring no configuration or adjustments.
